   In the beginning, I just wanted to lose the extra weight. It had never crossed my mind that I would fall hopelessly in love with the process and all this fitness lifestyle madness .

   When I get asked “How did you manage to lose the weight?” my honest answer is “I made a lot of mistakes!”.

   The last drop was when I decided to request the services of a dietitian. I told myself it was time to ask for an expert’s help because what I was doing was not working anymore.   After new health problems appeared under the supervision of a dietitian that claim their method is healthy and working, I decided that “Enough is enough, I am going to become my own health expert!”. From that moment I developed a boundless thirst for correct knowledge.

AAA3   “Permanent results only come from permanent changes in diet and lifestyle. We cannot be permanently healthy if we do not permanently change our habits” said Dr Joel Fuhram and when I finally understood that, I changed my habits and made sure they were the right ones. With half the effort we get half the results and no, there is no shortcut when it comes to weight loss.

   The principle that guides me now is: when health is your number 1 priority, your body will transform for the better.

   I was raised in an environment that taught me to be extremely lazy and since childhood, I had painful rheumatoid arthritis in all my joints. I was the biggest sugar addict I know and I developed a binge eating disorder. Also, I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia ( a condition that causes widespread pain and extreme tiredness ) and degenerative disc disease.
